These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Rentalope web application at rentalope.com (the "Service"), operated by Vance Technology LLC ("we", "us", or "our"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. One account represents one rental business ("Operator").
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes related to managing a legitimate rental business. You may not:
The Service is available to use for managing your rental business with no contracts or commitments. If you choose to connect Stripe to collect payments from your renters, a flat $1.00 fee per rental is applied to each invoice, in addition to standard Stripe processing fees (2.9% + $0.30). These fees are automatically deducted by Stripe before funds reach your account.
You retain ownership of all data you enter into the Service. We do not claim any rights to your business data. You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of data you enter and for maintaining your own backups if desired.
If you connect Stripe, you agree to Stripe's own Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for Stripe's services, fees, or decisions regarding your Stripe account.
We strive to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance or updates that temporarily affect availability. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of planned downtime.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to lost revenue, lost data, or business interruption.
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days unless retention is required by law.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notice.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
